The agriturismo
An agritourism close to Narni, within a property of 400 ha, with vineyards, olive groves and Chianina meat production.
The Castle of the Queens, in addition to offering stays in the green Umbria, offers the opportunity to tour the property with wine tasting in the cellar.
The country house also offers a restaurant offering typical Umbrian dishes.
The meat and vegetables used in the restaurant are produced on the farm: the three vegetable gardens within the property produce all the vegetables depending on the season, while the meat is drawn from the farm of Chianina (in the semi-wild state) and Cinta Senese (a return to the ancient origins: this breed of pig was already raised at the time of the Etruscans!).
The accommodation
The farm is located in Narni and near the beautiful and picturesque Marmore Falls, is composed of three restored farmhouses (Olive, Cypress and Oak), with two swimming pools.
The apartments are spacious and have an antique flavour, with typical wooden beams on the ceiling and period furniture; all have independent heating, air conditioning, living room with fireplace, private garden or panoramic terrace, fully equipped kitchen, WiFi, and satellite television.
In the main building, near the restaurant and reception, the house CIPRESSO houses 4 three-roomed apartments, one with two bathrooms, while the house ULIVO offers 4 apartments: 3 three-roomed apartments (one with two bathrooms) and 1 three-roomed apartment with two bathrooms and terrace with barbecue.
At about 80 meters from the main building, instead, on a small hill surrounded by olive trees, Mediterranean scrub and oaks, the farmhouse QUERCIA enjoys a breathtaking view and has 3 three-roomed apartments, two on the ground floor (which can be connected and have a large garden and barbecue) and one on the first floor, with a beautiful terrace.
The offer is completed by panoramic swimming pools, children's games, parking and even a column to recharge electric cars!
Breakfast buffet included.
Activities and surrounding
During the stay guests can enjoy the surrounding nature walking through the woods and vineyards of the estate, with about 40 km of dirt road inside the property.
The winery gives the opportunity to organize wine tours and tastings of excellent Umbrian wines, in the cellar and with a visit to the vineyards.
