The agriturismo
Agriturismo Madre Terra Umbria is located near Narni, Sangemini, Carsulae, Cascata delle Marmore, Gole del Nera, Via Francigena and Valnerina. in a panoramic position among olive trees. It is an integral part of the organic farm that has been in Manuela's family for four generations.
Respecting the ancestors and, in order to let the flavor of times past breathe, Manuela and her family have remained faithful to the pre-existing features, including the use of bio-traditional products, while not giving up the conveniences of our time.
The accommodation
The Casale is set in the center of the organic farm. There is a bio-pool available to guests 24 h. The outdoor areas are naturally furnished and usable for a relaxing or/and regenerating stay.
The renovated main house and annex consist of 2 rooms withen suite bathroom, refrigerator and TV in the room, I Nonni, sleeps 4, and I Figli sleeps 3 , with shared living area with fireplace.
It also has 1 open space apartment, with a loft that can accommodate up to 8 people. It has a fully equipped kitchen (dishes, refrigerator, oven, stove), sofa bed (single or double), separate entrance.
All accommodations are equipped with air conditioning.
Activities and surrounding
In the fields of the organic farm are grown olive trees, fruits, cereals, vegetables, alimurgical herbs.
The farmhouse is a strategic point for those who want to know the lower Umbria .
Manuela and her family are available to help you visit the wonderful surroundings: Narni with its 32 medieval churches and its Templar history; Narni underground with its esoteric secrets related to the Inquisition;
the Nera Gorge with the magic of its crystal clear waters and the views already discovered by poets (Leopardi), writers (Goethe) and painters (Corot);
the Marmore Falls with its walks and breathtaking views;
San Gemini, home of mineral waters,
Carsulae, first Celtic, Etruscan and then Roman, unique and all to be discovered;
the Fossil Forest of Dunarobba;
and, just further away Spoleto, the Via Francigena, Assisi and all the magic of the magnificent Umbrian.
Trekking, e-bike rides, traditional Umbrian cooking experiences , yoga and more can be arranged during your stay
