La Casa di Piandelbello is situated in one of the most panoramic areas of Umbria, on the slopes of Monte Peglia.
Surrounded by olive trees, lavender and wild roses, it has been created from an old farmhouse dating back to the 17th century, restored in full respect of the original construction techniques.
Thefarmhouse was founded in 2001.
It stands out in the production of organic oil, wheat, seeds and honey
. The company also offers its customers the opportunity to buy its extra virgin olive oil pressed with natural methods.
It also sells honey that the bees produce with the fragrance of the thousands of flowers that surround the area, for a holiday not only to live, but also to taste.
The accommodation structure includes 8 apartments, each with its own private outdoor area characterized by different vegetation.
Six of the apartments are located in the main building of the farmhouse, while the remaining two (Olivo andVilla Clara) are independent buildings. Il Melograno and l'Alloro share a small internal courtyard, enriched by a seventeenth-century oven where it is possible to bake bread as it was done in the past.
For those who want to enjoy a relaxing stay, the farmhouse, in addition to the riches of the territory (a river a few steps and many fruit trees) offers its guests several facilities: a swimming pool (19×6 meters), a reading room with porch and panoramic view, a natural solarium and several terraces adjacent to the apartments to fully enjoy a holiday in contact with nature.
The location of the farmhouse is central and allows you to easily reach the Italian cities of art. With an hour's drive, in fact, you can get to Rome and with two hours to Florence.
The places surrounding the Casa di Piandelbello are also rich in history, culture and spirituality: not only Assisi, Cascia , Todi and Perugia , but also San Venanzo with its beautiful Church of the Madonna Liberatrice, Montecastello di Vibio with the smallest theatre in the world and Orvieto with St. Patrick's well and the cathedral, an example of Gothic art par excellence.
Less than a hundred kilometres from the farmhouse is a unique natural spectacle: the Marmore
Falls.
The Casa di Piandelbello gives you the opportunity to assist in the organic olive harvest and other typical activities of the farm.
