The Alto Venda farmhouse can be reached from Valnogaredo di Cinto Euganeo (Padua). It is located at the foot of the southern summit of Mount Venda, from which it is possible to admire a stupendous panorama of the valleys south of the Euganean Hills and part of the Po Valley, on clear days as far as the Apennines.
The accommodation
Agriturismo Alto Venda has 10 rooms with en suite bathrooms to accommodate guests in one of the most fascinating natural settings in the Euganean Hills.

The Alto Venda agritourism is part of the Monte Venda farm. By farm choice, no pesticides or poisons of any kind are used either on the olive trees or on the vineyards or fruit trees and all vegetables.
The farm also has a livestock division in which pigs, chickens , cock erels , guinea fowl, pheasants, quail, ducks (mallards) and rabbits are raised . While the pigs are used to make sausages and various cured meats, as well as ribs and mince, all other animals are used for spit and grills all strictly on wood braziers.
Of particular importance is thefarming of shrimp (lobsters) in freshwater tanks. This is aquaponics farming. The crayfish is raised on the farm in a state-of-the-art closed-circuit system in which the breeding water is purified by vegetables and plants that absorb and use for their own growth the nitrates derived from the process of transforming the ammonia produced by the crayfish. These lobsters are used by the farm for themed evenings in which they prepare extremely tasty and delicate lobster-based sauces .
The property borders the trails of Monte Venda, and guests can take them for long, healthy and relaxing walks. Some of the trails are particularly rough, steep and full of stones and are recommended for people equipped with appropriate hiking boots.
