Contrada Cecalupo, 11, 65014 Loreto Aprutino (Pescara)
In a 10 hectare olive grove, a few km from the historic hamlet of Loreto Apruntino, the agriturismo stands in the rolling Abruzzo hills overlooking the valley of the Tavo river, in an area known as the “The Pescara terrace over the Maiella” because it offers views stretching from the Maiella massif to the Gran Sasso.
The farm produces organic PDO extra virgin olive oil.
The 4 cosy guest rooms feature the famous Castelli pottery, which appears throughout the agriturismo. All rooms are also tastefully furnished and include private bathrooms with showers, flat screen TVs and air conditioning. Three rooms are located on the first floor with balconies and scenic views of the countryside and the Maiella, and one room is located on the ground floor and accessible to disabled guests.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be enjoyed in the lounge or outdoors, under the wooden veranda surrounded by green olive trees. Every day guests can enjoy freshly baked bread, tarts and biscotti for breakfast; homemade pasta, locally produced cheeses such as giuncata and mozzarella for lunch; and local meats and typical “arrosticini” grilled meat skewers for dinner.
As well as mountain bikes, the farm also provides a relaxation and fitness area, with a swimming pool, a small gym with professional equipment, a reading room with TV and stereo, a self-service area with barbecue and induction hob, a gazebo and a well-maintained lawn amongst the olive trees where guests can lounge in the sun and enjoy nature.
