The agriturismo

A welcoming hamlet in Sicily, between Etna and the enchanting sea to the south east, close to a nature oasis and UNESCO world heritage sites. 

The accommodation

The Farm Borgo Levante is situated on a hill overlooking the sea and Mount Etna. Immersed in the green of citrus and olive trees, it is the ideal place for walks and to enjoy the flora typical of the Mediterranean Area. Local produce (oil, citrus, vegetables) are obtained with organic agriculture techniques. 

The rooms available to the guests are very comfortable and equipped with bathroom, air conditioning, telephone and TV and all furnished with beds in wrought iron, wooden furniture and ceramics of Caltagirone.

Guests can enjoy a range of services, in particularthe use (only for residents) of the beautiful swimming pool.

 

Activities and surrounding

Located near the state highway 114, halfway between Catania and Syracuse, the farmhouse is an ideal base for visiting places of cultural and environmental interest such as Siracusa, Noto, Taormina, Caltagirone, Vendicari, Pantalica, Cavagrande, Marzamemi and Etna). At about a hour drive, you can reach the Castle of Donnafugata, Ragusa Ibla and Modica. Also, the farmhouse is just 3 km from the beautiful bay of Castelluccio and the beach of Agnone Bagni.

Dear Dieter,

we are very sorry to receive your review, not so much because it was negative, but especially in that while you were at the facility, you never made any mention of this.

We could say that the refrigerator is two years old and therefore cannot be old,
that the bed was not a cot but a normal extra bed, that the living room in the suite
is 30sq.m. and not 20sq.m. We could argue therefore all that you had grievances about,
but what is most regrettable is that we are always open to discussion, and if you had told us during your stay about everything that was wrong,
we could have met your needs. Even for example for breakfast, if you had special or specific requests, we would have been happy to accommodate them.

By the way, you did not mention the positive things such as the friendliness of the staff , the beautiful rooftop terrace of the suite, the beautiful swimming pool, the dinners you enjoyed by stopping by for dinner every night


Now, to conclude we can say that after all the positive comments, every now and then having to respond to the different and negative point of view does not create any problem for us, also because "everyone sees what he wants to see."
We hope to make amends soon with another stay at our agritourism, when and if you want it.
