The agriturismo

The farmhouse is located in the plain of Battaglia ( Buseto Palizzolo ) , dates back to the late 1700s and was built by Giuseppe Fontana, founder of the family that still owns it. nestled in the hills between Trapani, Erice and Castellammare del Golfo and is therefore located in a barycentric position with respect to the places most visited by tourists e.g. San Vito Lo Capo , Erice , Trapani , Segesta , Selinunte , Scopello , Egadi Islands etc..

The accommodation

There are 14 rooms (including double, triple and quadruple rooms ) for guests, including 2 superior rooms, all built respecting the original architectural features and equipped with modern comforts: bathroom, heating, air conditioning, color TV, Wi-Fi. Cribs or cribs on request.

The facility has facilities for the handicapped, a large park (usable for events and ceremonies), swimming pool with Jacuzzi, multi-sports field (soccer, tennis), table tennis, room for tasting the farm's products (wine, oil, honey), small museum with restored ancient agro-industrial tools, conference room (about 100 seats) with video projection and amplification system.
A spa with Turkish bath, indoor whirlpool bath, emotional shower, outdoor whirlpool bath with thalasso-therapy and chromo-therapy, offers massages performed by specialized personnel using natural/farm products (olive oil, almonds, argan, honey, sea salt, hot stone).

Traditional local dishes can be enjoyed in the restaurant, and cooking classes are organized.

Activities and surrounding

Guests can take part in cineforums, thematic cooking classes and guided/instructor-led horseback rides to reach, through the Bosco di Scorace nature reserve, the Segesta archaeological park. Boats (with crew) are also available for excursions to the Egadi, Stagnone (with salt pans), Zingaro and Monte Cofano Nature Reserves, with lunch on board and the possibility of diving.

The main tourist centers of the Trapani area are also easily accessible.
