The agriturismo

Halfway between Rome and Florence, the agriturismo lies between the Val d'Orcia and the Valdichiana, and was born out of the owners' passion for hospitality and the renovation of the farm, nestled on the slopes of the Sienese hills, in an area known for its unspoiled nature and food and wine.

The welcome is familiar, in a spirit of sharing Tuscan traditions.

The accommodation

The agriturismo, dating from about 1700, was converted from an old resting spot on the Via Francigena and has recently been renovated in perfect keeping with the original architecture.

Guests can stay in rooms and accommodation units with views of the surrounding valleys and equipped with heating, bathroom, satellite TV, bed/bath linen and shower accessories.

 

The rooms still have the characteristic ancient oak beams and original Tuscan terracotta floors.

Activities and surrounding

The agriturismo is located in an unspoilt natural environment where you can meet the local wildlife, such as pheasants with their colourful plumage, squirrels, hares and roe deer.

A stay can be combined with food and wine tours with farm produce, or relaxation in the nearby Fonteverde spa, thanks to a special agreement with the agriturismo (packages and discounts for guests).

The place is ideal for excursions to cities of art such as Orvieto, Assisi and Siena, or for discovering the Orcia Valley and towns such as Radicofani, Pienza or Montepulciano.
