Agriturismo Le Acacie was founded in the late 1990s, strongly supported by Enza Marcellitti and her family who, for generations, have been involved in farming and livestock breeding.
The deep roots that this family keeps in the local area make it possible to offer guests a unique experience, in terms of both hospitality and food options.
All this is topped off with a friendly, welcoming environment.
The agriturismo consists of two adjacent buildings with a garden at the front and 8 hectares of land, formed by various plots scattered over the Palentini plateau at over700 metres above sea level.
The main building is made of stone and is the result of the architectural renovation of a stable with a barn dating back to 1600. Spread out over two floors, the ground floor includes: the kitchen, the dining room and a wooden porch. The first floor includes: three en-suite bedrooms, a small lounge and a terrace.
In 2007, aturn-of-the-century building, not far from the first, was converted into the secondary building, with a further four en-suite bedrooms and a smallmuseum ofFarming Arts.
The farmland is mainly used for growing cereals, fodder plants, fruit and vegetables, in particular ancient and typical cultivars which are then used to prepare traditional dishes.
