The agriturismo
Casina Bardoscia is located in the countryside between Cutrofiano, Aradeo and Galatina in the heart of Salento's Grecìa region. It is a manor house dating back to the 1800s that takes its name from the Galatinese family who for a long time made it their summer residence. A careful restoration by Teresa, Rita and Chiara has preserved all the characteristic and sought-after original architectural elements, combining the elegance of the structure with the comfort and tools of a solid hospitality tradition.
The accommodation
The relais enjoys an exceptional setting: it is secluded in a quiet corner of the Salento countryside, immersed in a park of more than twenty hectares where pines, walnut trees, citrus trees and centuries-old olive trees surround it, giving it great harmony with nature.
Hospitality is developed in rooms and suites. The rooms are all on the ground floor while the suites are on the second floor of the building accessed exclusively by a majestic staircase made of Lecce stone.
Attention to every detail, the rooms are elegantly furnished and equipped with every comfort. They are all on the ground floor completely immersed in the greenery and history of the Salento countryside. They consist of comfortable double beds some of them with canopies and have the typical star or pavilion vaults. Each room has a large private bathroom with extra large shower. Complete courtesy set, free wifi, Lcd TV, air conditioning, minibar, hair dryer, 100% cotton linens.
Junior Suite (50 sqm): With its large square footage and exclusive terrace, the junior suite is the ideal solution for the most romantic stays. It is a very large and bright room with original cocciopesto floor from the 1800s, four-poster bed, living corner and large bathroom with Jacuzzi whirlpool tub and extra large shower stall with maxi shower head. The double overlook on the front and on the exclusive equipped terrace will allow you to enjoy breathtaking views: from the sunrise among the majestic centuries-old pines to the spectacular sunsets over the estate's centuries-old olive grove.
Casina Bardoscia Suite (90 sq. m.): The Casina Bardoscia suite is the most exclusive option on the property. It is an elegant and bright accommodation whose restoration has unearthed the wonderful original earthenware floors dating back to the early 1800s. It has two double bedrooms, comfortable living area furnished with sofa and armchairs, bathroom with double sink, Jacuzzi whirlpool tub, large shower stall with maxi shower head. The suite also boasts a double overlook on the front and on the large equipped terrace of exclusive pertinence from which to enjoy the splendid view of the swimming pool enclosed in the characteristic citrus grove and the centuries-old olive grove of the estate. The large living room is equipped with a comfortable sofa bed that can accommodate up to two more guests.
The property is completed by a large terrace overlooking the surrounding countryside, where every morning guests will be served homemade cakes, jams and typical sweets from the best Salento bakeries, and a relaxation area with a swimming pool equipped with sun loungers and chairs where you can enjoy delicious aperitifs at sunset.

Casina Bardoscia is a facility with a swimming pool. Enclosed within the citrus grove, it is the ideal place to relax after a day spent at the beach or visiting the Salento villages. The pool is always open, and is the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine, a juice or coffee on ice, or a tasty aperitif as the sun goes down.
