The agriturismo
Agriturismo La Stornara is an elegant Masseria that grew out of a rare Apulian tobacco factory from the 1940s. It is located in the heart of Magna Grecia Tarentina, a land rich in history and with many places to discover.
The estate offers an exclusive vacation in a typical Pugliese masseria. Outside the cottage a large garden, lawn shaded by large pine trees, patio with barbecue station, organic vegetable garden and chicken coop. The entire property is surrounded by a characteristic orange grove, olive grove and vineyard for the production of our wines and pitted extra virgin olive oil.
The accommodation
After meticulous renovation in total respect of the historical-architectural features, five delightful apartments were obtained that preserve the old rural charm.
La Margherita consists of two large bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen with fireplace and two small bathrooms.
Il Papavero consists of a large living room with well-equipped kitchen and wood-burning oven, a small but delightful bedroom and bathroom.
The Girasole has a large fireplace and air conditioning. It consists of a large living room with well-equipped kitchen, a large bedroom and private bathroom. There is a comfortable sofa in the living room that converts into two single beds (or cot) if needed.
La Rosa has a fireplace and air conditioning. Consists of small living room with very well equipped kitchen, a large bedroom and private bathroom.
La Mimosa consists of a well-equipped kitchen, a large bedroom and bathroom. Outside there is a private patio located to the side of the garden, where you can relax or eat outside.
All apartments have a large patio outside around the garden where you can have your meals or relax on deck chairs. Barbecue available to all guests.
Room amenities: garden view, TV, free WiFi, air conditioning/heating, desk, soundproofing, old terracotta floor, mosquito net, closet/wardrobe, cleaning products, shower, hair dryer, complimentary toiletries. Outdoor laundry available to all guests.
Activities and surrounding
The farmhouse is located 5 km from the sea at Ginosa Marina, 35 km from Matera, 15 km from Metaponto, 50 km from Taranto and 90 km from Bari.
Worth visiting nearby are the Sassi di Matera - UNESCO heritage site - the Pollino Park, La gravina di Massafra, the archaeological museum of Metaponto and Taranto, the cities of Martina Franca, Grottaglie, Alberobello and Lecce.
Each client will be given discount coupons for 3 fantastic experiences:

- a boat trip to visit the Dolphin Sanctuary, complete with an aperitif on board
