Between Calabria and Basilicata, a family-run organic agriturismo a few minutes from the Pollino National Park and the magnificent Ionian coast. Traditional dishes are on offer with produce from the farm or the local area. The family farmhouse, more than a century old, has been renovated, combining the desire to preserve the identity of the building with attention to the needs and comfort of guests. Two bedrooms are available, carefully furnished in Arte Povera style, in keeping with rural tradition.
The dining room seats up to 30 people. The agriturismo uses organic farming practices only. The kitchen mainly uses produce from the farm itself or the local area, in dishes linked to the gastronomic culture of the local area and the culinary tradition of the Alto Jonio region.
The many specialities include fresh pasta such as ‘frizzuli’ and ‘cavatelli’ served with seasonal sauces, winter soups with pulses, meat and vegetables, fruit, cheeses, wine and oil, as well as jams and sophisticated cured meats.
