San Giorgio

At the San Giorgio farm, a recently renovated rural building prepared for holiday farm use, the owner Annamaria offers a friendly welcome, inviting guests to discover the country tradition and culture. In fact, the San Giorgio farm comes within the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park, recently recognized by UNESCO as a Protected Nature Area.
The farm is situated between the Tyrrhenian Sea, about 3 km away, and Mt. Stella, Mt. Sacro or Gelbison and the Alburni mountains, about 10 km away. You can also participate in the activities of the farm which has olive trees, vines, vegetables, sowable land and also rabbits, chickens and pigs. The San Giorgio farm, run with the organic method, produces most of the products used in the kitchen for preparing typical local dishes like fusilli, dumplings, lasagne and chick-peas.

5 double and/or triple rooms, 2 single rooms, all with ensuite.
Kitchen, dining room (30 persons), lounge with wood fireplace.
For guests and non-guests, typical dishes: homemade dumplings, fusilli served with mutton sauce, lasagne and chick-peas with pigskin, Parmesan cheese Barbecued meat, sausages (capicollo, headcheese, ham, sausage, bacon), home-made bread, wine, limoncello. Showroom with tasting and sale of the farm's organic products (oil, wine, honey, sausage).Within easy reach are the diggings at Paestum, the archaeological area of Velia, the caves of Pertosa and Castelcivita. Also trips along the Amalfi coast, Pompeii and Capri.
