We spent a wonderful week at Elijah and Rosa, Spina Rossa. The location is perfect for trips and walks in the area. The house is beautifully and quietly, lovingly renovated and has a nice and clean rooms. Rosa's food is fantastic! We were happy every day for dinner.

We stayed with Rosa and Elia in May of 2011 and thoroughly enjoyed everything. The are so friendly and hospitable as are all of the local people. We chose 1/2 board and got to start and end every day with them both and were even treated one evening to a dinner with their nephew and his wife. The 'villa' is spectacularly restored and our room was spotless with a wonderful veranda overlooking the valley. The grounds are wonderful for wandering. The food is amazing and lovingly prepared by Rosa mostly from locally grown produce and even the 'meat' was from their own pig. This was a very convenient location for our daily sightseeing and Elia was a wealth of information for anything we needed. Can't wait to return. Thanks again to Rosa and Elia.

We spent the week of August at the Farm, in the countryside surrounded by olive trees, lemon trees and an infinite tranquility. The optimal structure, tidy and very clean. The owners Rose and Elijah, exquisite people and very helpful, we were welcomed as family members, but with great discretion. The cuisine is simple but excellent by Rosa, often using the fruits of their cultivation. We spent a wonderful time in Spina Rossa. Very pleasant, calm place, with a caring couple, Elia and Rosa, both of them are very kind and charm people.
The house is renovated in a very nice way, the area is beautiful and peaceful, our room was very authentic and clean all the time, thanks to Rosa. We were happy for the two sweet dogs, Billy and Emma as well.
The dishes were delicious, typical Italian food, carefully prepared by Rosa and professionally served by Elio :)
The beaches around are calm and not very popular, the Amalfi coast is about 2 hours drive, the traffic is a bit dangerous, lots of aggressive drivers on the roads.

The idyllic and secluded position near by the sea, but in the original and non-touristic backcountry makes it perfect for trips to beautiful beaches and fishing villages, cultural discoveries and relaxing hours on the patio. A visit to Spina Rossa is rounded off by the extraordinary hospitality of Rosa and Elia and their amiable dogs Emma und Billie. Last but not least to mention the marvellous and authentic cuisine of Rosa – which, on their own, makes us want to come back soon.
