The agriturismo

Within a 21 hectare farm in the midst of the characteristic Taro and Ceno Valleys and near the center of Borgotaro, guests are welcomed in two large 17th century farmhouses surrounded by nature, horses raised in a semi-wild environment, meadows, woodlands and pasture deliberately kept in its natural state.

The accommodation

The agritourism is made up of two large stone farmhouses dating back to the 17th century that have recently been completely renovated while at the same time seeking to keep them as close to their original state as possible, with stone floors and doors and lintels made out of wood from the era.
Inside there are five large comfortable and bright rooms available (approximately 25-30 square meters each).
The restaurant service featuring homemade products and dishes is exclusively reserved for guests.

There is also an old covered and heated barn within the agritourism that is used as a reading room.
During the summer months, guests can relax in the shade of the suggestive stone portico.
At the farm, the renowned porcini mushrooms can be gathered; the grounds are completely fenced and made available to guests for gathering.
The farm is equipped to welcome horses and riders.

Activities and surrounding

During your stay you will be able to come in contact with Bardigiano horses, a docile and tame breed.
There are many paths and trails nearby that are completely surrounded by nature and perfect for those who love hiking or mountain-biking.

During the summer you can also relax by taking a swim in the Taro River.
The convenient highway and railway system makes it easy to reach Versilia and the renowned Cinque Terre in about an hour.
There are also many castles to be admired in the vicinity: Bardi, Compiano, Varano dè Melegari, Torrechiara, Fontanellato and Soragna. The nearby medieval village of Corchia is also worth visiting.

We spent one night, the property and surroundings exude peace and tranquility, the accommodation was very clean and the dinner (4 courses with dessert) was fabulous. We wished we could stay a few more days.

Hi, I am Paolo and I am 55 years old.

This is me and my wife, Mirella

I have been managing Le Querciole since 2007 along with my wife.

We take care of: we cook for the guests, we take care of the crops, we rear the animals.

I decided to manage an agriturismo because to pursue a passion

Our guests' favourite thing about Le Querciole is the warm family welcome.
