The agriturismo
In the Rivergaro countryside, 20 minutes from Piacenza, the farm is devoted to the cultivating fruit, vegetables and cereals which are used in its restaurant, together with delicious meat supplied by nearby farms.
Guests are offered 7 bedrooms of which one is accessible to the disabled. Each one boasts a splendid view of the hills and a shady location, so it is cool even in summer.
The accommodation
The rooms have quality furnishings to guarantee a relaxing, pleasant stay. Pets are welcome, so guests can enjoy their holiday in the company of their four-legged friends.
The restaurant (open for lunch from Tuesday to Sunday and for dinner from Thursday to Sunday) uses the ample outdoor space ideal for snacks, buffets, and cocktails in summer. Menus can be planned for weddings, baptisms, first communions or confirmations, serving up to 100 diners.
The menu includes local antipasti (e.g. Piacenza salamis with fried dumplings and mixed vegetables with oil and mustard); homemade fresh pasta dishes (e.g. Piacenza tortelli stuffed with spinach and ricotta, pisarei and fasò dumplings with beans and tomato sauce, meat-stuffed anolini pasta parcels in broth); roast and griddle-cooked meats with seasonal vegetables; excellent homemade desserts. The wines are local and the ingredients are either grown on the farm or supplied by nearby producers.
