For the future guests I would like to say that the surroundings are quite stunning actually, in spite the area is not that touristic and so is not the right place for who is looking for touristic attraction like maybe the writer of this review was looking for .

This is a country area where you can enjoy, especially in august, to be actually out by the messiness of the touristic places . Relaxing in the calm and beauty of the countryside of Piacenza hills in addition to a wide offer of food and wine made for locals and not for tourists, so definitively of higher quality.

This is a place to discover. You can visit Bobbio ( with one of the older monastery of europe) or you can go to swim in the river Trebbia, which is considered one of the cleanest in italy or visit one of the 200 castles of the ducate of Parma and Piacenza , the Castell'arquato bourgeois or another small medieval town or finally the numerous cities around from Parma to Pavia or even to Genova , Milan or Bologna and Turin for longer stay .
