San Lorenzo di Roccantica

Elsebeth Faerch  - Montanarella born in Copenhagen (DK), widow of Adm. Marco Montanarella.  I feel European, studied business and economics and English and French respectively in London and Paris.  My fortune was to meet Marco in France.  We have both worked for NATO for 25 years posted in several NATO countries.  An enchanting experience to work in an international atmosphere, which has given me the opportunity to know and understand the different mentalities and cultures.

After retirement we decided to live in the nature with the animals as a consequence was created the “Agriturismo – Centro Ippico San Lorenzo”

It is my pleasure to receive the holiday guests and make them acquainted with the fascinating Sabina, the habits the history and the local cooking.

After reconstruction of the old stable and farm house it is now a comfortable mansion, which consist of six double rooms and a small flat (all with private bathroom), furnished with ancient furniture and some with modern;  two spacious living rooms with open fire, a library well equipped with books in several languages and a large country kitchen. 

Moreover a swimming pool surrounded with green lawns and flowers, is available only for the guests.  During the warm season breakfast and meals are served  under one of the spacious porches, where also an  outdoor barbecue and a wooden oven is available the latter for pizza and homemade bread. 
The farm produces natural products as  vine, oil, vegetables, fruit;  and prepares its own jam and the famous Italian liqueur “Lemoncello”. 

San Lorenzo has also a Horse Riding School, 2 jumping fields, 40 boxes and an agreeable Club House.  Horse riding lessons by a Federal Instructor or accompanied rides in the country sides can be arranged.
