The agriturismo
Agriturismo I Girasoli is nestled in the green Tuscan-Lazio Maremma, three kilometers from the clear waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea and close to very interesting places to visit.
To welcome guests Cinzia and Andrea with their little children, who will make guests feel at home and always ready to meet their every need.
The accommodation
The farmhouse has three rooms equipped with every comfort, an apartment and the restaurant.
The rooms are named after berries that are grown in the property's fields.
Each room has a private bathroom, air conditioning, television, small room fridge, private veranda with table and chairs.
Theapartment has one double bedroom, one twin bedroom, bathroom, living room with kitchen, private porch with table and chairs. In the apartment there is air conditioning, washing machine, television, oven, refrigerator, iron. hair dryer.
In the restaurant you can enjoy the traditional dishes of the area, as well as other tasty meat, fish or pizza dishes.
The vegetablegarden provides the vegetables for the restaurant, picked fresh every day
The farm grows one hectare of blackberries and raspberries from which excellent marmalades are made; in the rest of the land, sunflower and wheat crops alternate.
Activities and surrounding
In addition to the beauty of the sea, being on the border between Tuscany and Lazio, many places to visit in the surrounding area are recommended.
The property is 15 km from Tuscany. From Capalbio, a small village destination for many tourists, the Tarot Garden, a destination for many foreign tourists.
Then there are the tuff cities, such as Pitigliano, Sovana and Montemerano, Monte Argentario, the excavations of the cttà di Cosa and the nature park Oasi di Burano. Beyond the thermal baths of Saturnia.
On the Lazio side we have Vulci with its museum and excavations of ancient Roman cities. Beyond the thermal baths of Vulci, Tarquinia, with its Etruscan necropolis and museum, Viterbo, the city of the popes and its thermal baths, Lake Bolsena, and an hour's drive away is Rome , rich in art and history.
