The agriturismo

The new farmhouse/Country-Relais Parco di Canuleio, located only 800 meters from a beach reserved for guests, features a characteristically irregularly shaped swimming pool with a salt system.

It consists of 6 accommodations sleeping 2 to 6, all with fully equipped indoor kitchens and unique 360-degree panoramic views of Lake Bolsena.

It has indoor parking and a charging station for electric cars.

The property is surrounded by fertile land cultivated mostly with olive trees, some of which are centuries old, from which an excellent extra-virgin olive oil is made and used as the basic condiment in many recipes and typical dishes of the area.

 

The accommodation

The name of the farmhouse derives from the funerary monument of Lucius Canuleius (Roman consul), found within the property's woodland and dating from around the 1st century AD. At guests' disposal 6 very well-kept lodgings, furnished combining classic and traditional elements with contemporary ones to ensure efficiency and comfort: Ligustro, Ginestra, Corniolo, Casa Verde, Casa Panorama and Casa Natura.

Ligustroand Ginestra (27 sq m - 2 beds each): elegant ground-floor studios finely furnished in country style. They consist of a living/kitchen area, a double bed and a large bathroom with shower, independent heating, independent entrance.

Corniolo (mq 50 - 2 3 beds): located on the ground floor, accommodation furnished in country style, equipped with a double bedroom, a single bedroom for two/three children or teenagers (with bunk beds), living room/kitchen, independent heating and independent entrance.

Casa Verde, Casa Panoramica and Casa Natura (70 sq m - sleeps 4 2 each): located on the ground floor, feature two double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom with shower, large living room/kitchen with single sofa bed. Independent heating and separate entrance.

Each unit has a patio overlooking the lake, well-equipped kitchenette also with dishwasher, flat-screen satellite TV, and private bathroom with bidet, hairdryer and toiletries. A refrigerator, an oven and a coffee maker are also available to guests. There is WiFi access - indoor and outdoor - and it is free of charge.

All apartments have their own terrace furnished with outdoor tables and chairs.

Activities and surrounding

The area above the apartments is wooded; there are trails that can be best traveled on foot, to fully enjoy nature and be enchanted by a landscape of oaks and shrubs, often flowering, typical of the area, and small streams.

Also within walking distance is the historic Via Francigena. There are numerous cultural and archaeological attractions that the area offers: around the lake, in fact, it is possible to visit the towns of Bolsena, Civita di Bagnoregio, Orvieto, Montefiascone, Marta, Capodimonte, Valentano, Gradoli, Grotte di Castro, San Lorenzo Nuovo, Isola Bisentina and Isola Martana, or to devote oneself to the discovery of the many paths that lend themselves to walking, mountain biking or horseback riding.
