The agriturismo

The Al Chiar di Luna farmhouse is located within the Ca' Bensi Winery, in Tagliolo Monferrato, in the hills in southern Piedmont, close to the Ligurian Apennines, on the border with Liguria.

Here guests can spend days surrounded by greenery and the authenticity and rurality of daily life.

In addition, it is possible to taste home-made wines and only on weekends also tasty dishes of traditional cuisine.

The accommodation

Surrounded by the quiet of the countryside and therural atmosphere, you can stay at Chiar di Luna to discover the area, taste the wines produced with the grapes from the vineyards grown on the farm and savor, on weekends, the traditional cuisine, rich in typical dishes of Piedmontese culture with marked Ligurian influences.

The farm has two bedrooms with bathrooms and a small terrace from which you can overlook the valley where the farm stands.

The rooms do not have air conditioning, have a French window with mosquito nets and free Wi-Fi .

Parking is available for guests.

Activities and surrounding

Easily accessible are the nearby towns of Ovada (just 5 min) known for the production of its great wines, Ovada Docg and Dolcetto di Ovada Doc, and for having in the beautiful historic center, the birthplace of St. Paul of the Cross.

Just 20 minutes away is Novi Ligure, city of the cycling champions, Coppi and Girardengo, and renowned confectionery hub.

The sea is about 30 minutes away by road (using the A26), and for those who like to spend pleasant moments of relaxation, a few kilometers (20 min) away is Acqui Terme, an international spa center of well-being.

You can also visit the wonderful castles of the nearby villages and the Capanne di Marcarolo Nature Park, with walks on nature trails along streams and with the possibility of horseback riding or mountain biking.

We also recommend, on days when the farmhouse does not have restaurant service, places where you can taste the local cuisine with its excellences.
