Cascine del Castello di Bagnolo

Le Cascine are ancient farm-houses (1500 to 1700 century) owning to the feudal estate Malingri di Bagnolo, restaured in 2004-2005 they offer confortable and charming apartments for 2 - 3 - 4 persons.

CASCINA (farm) BRUCE' (10 beds , 5 bed rooms).
Built in 1700 it's right under the castle's walls. It can be reached through 1 km. of private road immersed in the woods and the wineyards of the estate. It stands at 500 mt. above sea level, 200 mt. from the swimming pool.
Apt. Il Tinaggio:  Suitable for 4 people, it once was the farmhouse in which wine was produced. The old machinery, such as the wine-press, the carts and the cover of the shaft have been preserved along with the stone walls. The 72 square mt. apartement is furnished with a mix of antique and modern elements. First floor: double room, single room with one extra bed, bathroom with shower. Ground floor: wide living room, modern steel kitchen, Sat TV, 6 people table, sofa and armchairs, outdoor lying chair.
Heating. Bearing: S / SW.  Outdoors: wide garden surrounded by century old trees, a well, quiet and sunny, view on the surrounding mountains and woods.
Apt. La Vecchia: Suitable for 4 people ( + 1 kid bed, extra bed in living). Comfort and old fashion furniture in what once was the farmers house. Wide spaces (90 square mt.) offer the chance for a long vacation. The wide covered arcade is suitable for outdoor lunches and dinners.
First floor: double room with two beds and a wide balcony, double room with children bed, bathroom with bath-tub. Ground floor: Living room with chimney and sofa (extra bed), Sat TV, 6 people table and outdoor lying chair. Modern kitchen with oven and dishwasher.

Apt. Il Cravot: suitable for 2 people. What once was the barn for the small animals has been restructured in a romantic, indipendent house (35 square mt.), ideal for a couple. The furniture is modern and some pieces are unique hand made.
Living room with a sofa (double bed), Sat TV, bathroom with shower, dining and cooking space. Wide wooden terrace facing south.
Heating: wood stove with visible fire and air stoves.
Outdoors: in front of La vecchia, view on the Castle and of prairies and woods.

CASCINA (farm) CASTLIN (2 apt.s 8 beds + 1, 4 bed rooms)
One of the most interesting buildings of the Malingri Feud. Built around 1600 on a medieval tower which once was the first defense to the castle. The view is on the plains beyond and breathtaking. The newly built pool is in the back yard and is in full sun all day long.
Apt. La Vite: Appartment placed on the first floor, suitable for 4 people and renewed in 2005. There's a lot of space for a pleasant stay both indoors and outdoors with the beautiful porch.

Apt. La Torre: placed on ground floor, has in the kitchen a huge cheminee, large living room divised from wooden library, night zone with 2 beds, one double bed room, bath room with bath tub, central air heating, facing south. Charming garden with well and bread hove.

CASCINA (farm) BEDASSOT (2 apt.s 6 beds + 1)
Apt. La Mangiatoia: Appartment placed on the first floor, suitable for 2 people (+ 2 single beds and child bed upon request). This 54 square mt. one room apartement once was the main barn of the estate. Old elements have been preserved. The cooking space is wide and the furniture is modern. The wide porch, immersed in a flowered garden and the surrounding wineyards, has a big stone table and offer a quiet and shadowy place to eat in. Bathroom with bath-tub. Bearing: East, very fresh in the summertime. Heating: air heating and wood stove. Outdoors: garden surrounded by century old trees, porch, view on the plaines. 330 mt. from swimming pool.Apt. Il Forno: the small house  was the ancient back-hoven of the farm, build in stone and wood, restaured 2006, 40 sq.m., 2 single bed room with cheminee, living room ( 2 extra beds), bath room with shower, kitchen, heating. Nice terrace on the patio facing south and the vineyards, vew on Castle, swimming pool 300 mt.

Apt.  Pozzo (the WELL):  it was originally the farmers home, restored to modern use conserving  the old stone and wooden original pieces, it stay on three levels:
-  a few stone step to enter in the ancient large living-kitchen with nice rustic chimney
-  three step more to second level where you will find a nice studio (2 beds available) opening to a covered terrace a wooden stairs to the third level where two cozy double bed rooms  stays on a nice long balcony
- private garden around the well (= il pozzo) which gives the name to the house, stone table and flowering bushes.
