The agriturismo
The Santu Marcialis farmhouse in Soleminis, near Dolianova and Serdiana, is surrounded by 25 hectares of arable land and olive groves.
It offers the opportunity to spend wonderful vacations in total tranquility and to enjoy typical Sardinian dishes.
The farmhouse takes its name from the little church of the same name. Completely renovated, this cottage was made out of an old rural building in stone and wood.
The accommodation
Designed with the most innovative and comfortable techniques, Santu Marcialis offers its visitors a cozy and at the same time familiar environment.
The agritourism includes two large rustically furnished lounges, huge bright verandas where in summer you can enjoy appetizing typical dishes and 10 sober and comfortable bedrooms.
The rooms are furnished in Sardinian style and upon request, it is possible to have the double room or the room with the two separate beds; closet, chairs and private bathroom are the amenities.
5 rooms with private bath s are on the ground floor; another 5 with 2 shared baths on the upper floor, in a convenient and quiet area arranged to let guests fully experience the rhythms of nature.
Guests can taste delicious typical Sardinian dishes, with ingredients from the farm: meats, seasonal vegetables and fruits , eggs, cold cuts, cheeses, honey.
Guests can enjoy traditional Sardinian recipes with local and seasonal variations, such as fresh pasta, roast suckling pig.
Homemade desserts are varied and always much appreciated by guests. Homemade wines and liquors .
The property has free Wi-Fi available in public areas and free private parking available on site without reservation
Activities and surrounding
For younger guests, one of the most satisfying activities is the educational farm.
During this activity, the owners of the farm become true teachers of what they know most: the countryside and tell children about life in the midst of nature to pass on to them the most beautiful traditions about wine, oil, vegetable garden, honey and bread and pasta.
Near Santu Marcialis it is possible to experience other numerous adventures. The following are just a few examples:
- Dolianova, and its territories in front of the town, offer interesting ideas for stimulating walks and excursions, both on foot and by bicycle. The routes available to trekking enthusiasts are varied, as varied is the level of difficulty of the trails.
- Unspoiled landscapes and ancient archaeological sites, such as the Tomb of the Giants built during the 2nd millennium B.C., and visible by skirting Rio Su Tiriaxu.
- Cagliari National Archaeological Museum.
