Just 20 km from the city of Palermo, Agriturismo Masseria La Chiusa is the new reality of Sicilian farm holiday. The large restaurant hall is the historical ‘Sala delle Botti’ (the Barrel Hall), which is embellished by the ancient trusses and original columns. The chapel is placed inside the ‘Baglio’ which was once the heart of the village social life. The chapel has recently been scrupulously restored. The work has carefully uncovered the original frescos, tangible signs of the evolution in the figurative arts.

The resort offers 3 different types of living solutions. These range from the classic hotel style double or triple rooms that you access through a suggestive staircase carved into the rock, to a more residential style flat with cooking corner and a living room, and, finally, to accommodation in larger flats not far from the main building, but immersed in a rich vegetation and ample spaces to relax in.
All the room types are furnished in the original 1800s Sicilian style and have Jacuzzi tubs or showers, heating and air-conditioning, mini fridge as well as LCD TV.

Here at Agriturismo Masseria La Chiusa our guests will be protagonist of their own personal idea of relax and will enjoy the amenities of the places and discover nature.
Our guests will also indulge in the pleasures of good food, thanks to our rich culinary choices, all in observance of the best local gastronomic tradition. The Agriturismo kitchen offers traditional food using local produce and the fruit from the 130 hectares of biologically farmed land that the resort owns. Furthermore, it is possible to buy the local artefacts and to actively participate in the farming activities in the harvest periods.
The guests may also engage in sporting activities such as tennis and football at our sports centre or may relax in the swimming pool. Children can spend their time at the play area.
The resort also intends to be an integral part of the local cultural life through the promotion of the exhibitions, expositions, conventions and tasting sessions of the typical products of the Jato Valley.
