The agriturismo
The Marxenof organic farm is situated among orchards and vineyards near the cultural-historical city of Bressanone and offers stunning views of the Eisack Valley.
For more than 20 years, the Klammer family has been farming the Marxenhof biodynamically, which means guests can enjoy a relaxing farm vacation, staying in apartments with every comfort, surrounded by beautiful nature and gorgeous surroundings.

The accommodation
Marxenhof consists of 4 apartments equipped with every comfort but without TV and W-Lan. This ensures that guests get in deep contact with the surrounding nature and enjoy their vacation without worries and distractions.
Marxenhof and the surroundings of Brixen offer countless experiences to relax. Sweeping mountain vistas and deep valleys in between provide space to let your mind free of thoughts.
For guests who cannot do without an Internet connection, a cable connection has been set up in the lounge. In addition, EU-wide data roaming offers Internet access via smartphone.

Activities and surrounding
Marxenhof is an ideal place to experience many activities in nature. Hiking and biking are especially enjoyable in the spring due to the moderate temperatures and beautiful scenery. In addition, the city of Brixen offers an extensive program of events, such as the Water Lights Festival and more.
In summer, the mountains allow guests to enjoy their cool temperatures and let their eyes wander to the unmistakable Dolomites. The mountain slopes are ideal for long hikes to the peaks on the southern side of the Alps, as well as for short walks to the many mountain huts and alpine pastures, where delicious traditional South Tyrolean dishes can be enjoyed. Many hiking trails are also easily accessible by bicycle, and for the more adventurous cyclists there is much to discover in the forests. Especially the Plose, Brixen's local mountain, which is also ideal for families and older people. For more challenging hikes we recommend Ploseberg and Radlsee.
Within 10 minutes of the property, you can reach the Brixen Acquarena outdoor swimming pool, where you get free access with the Brixencard.
The natural Lüsen pond is worth a visit, an alternative and somewhat more family-friendly way to cool off on hot summer days.
Autumn is an important culinary time of year. Following an old tradition, many South Tyrolean farmers-especially in the Eisack Valley-invite guests to the famous "Törggelen."
During the Christmas season, you can visit the traditional "South TyroleanChristmas markets."
