The agriturismo
La Collina degli Olivi-as the name suggests-is nestled in the Florentine hills.
The farmhouse is located in the heart of Tuscany, surrounded by olive trees, vines and the scent of the Dolce Vita.
It is the perfect place to spend a pleasant stay in total relaxation.
The accommodation
The cozily furnished rooms have air conditioning, comfortable beds, bathroom with shower/toilet, Wi-Fi and a view of the greenery.
On the terrace, with wonderful views, guests can enjoy breakfast or an aperitif.
In the infinity pool you can swim to the landscape and enjoy cool temperatures.
The property has two family rooms, offering space for 1-3 children per room. A fully wheelchair-accessible room with shower/toilet on the ground floor is also available.
Homegrownolive oil can be purchased on site.
Activities and surrounding
La Collina degli Olivi is very centrally located in Certaldo and is ideal for day trips.
Electric bikes are also available for rent. Accompanied e-bike tours are organized for groups or individuals.
From the property it is easy to be surprised by the diversity of Tuscany, San Gimignano, Siena, Florence are within easy reach, where you can get lost walking through the historic streets.
San Gimignano: 20 minutes by car easily accessible. San Gimignano is called the Manhattan of Tuscany because of its historic towers, which can be seen from afar, even from the terrace of the farmhouse!
Florence: also reachable by train, from Certaldo directly to the center of Florence.
Siena, Arezzo, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Volterra, Pisa, Lucca. These and many other cities, as well as the sea are close to the farmhouse and can be easily reached by car.
Wine Tasting: wine tastings can be arranged at several wineries in the immediate vicinity of the farmhouse to learn more about local native grape varieties such as Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Ciliegiolo and Colorino and the delicious wine made from them.
Golf
For sportsmen and golf lovers, well-maintained golf courses can be visited from the farmhouse, a 45-60 minute drive away.
Olive harvest at the Hill
For one or more days in October, you can help with the olive harvest. For the occasion, visit to the olive press. Followed by a tasting with bread and wine at the facility.
