Villa il Cedro is an elegant Florentine manor house which has been tastefully converted into 6 fully furnished apartments. A further seven self contained villas are dotted around the estate.
Guests can spend a relaxing afternoon in the swimming pool, disturbed only by the sound of the church bells ringing in the distance, or enjoy a walk through the woods around the private lake where it is possible to fish.
The Villa owner, who lives in the estate, has built barbecue areas throughout the grounds where you can enjoy cooking your own Tuscan cuisine or alternatively the local villages of Reggello and Figline Valdarno offer a wide range of restaurants from which to choose. On request you can have typical Tuscan dinner cooked directly in your apartment or attend a cooking course.
Villa il Cedro is situated only 19 km from Florence and it is ideally located for exploring Tuscany’s treasures. You can by a short train journey get to Rome, by car you can explore Arezzo, Lucca (115 km), Pisa (120 km), Siena (94 km), San Gimignano (75 km), Cortona (100 km), Viareggio (136 km), Fligline (6,5 km).
Nearby possibility of horse riding, golf, mountain biking, trekking in the S. Antonio Forest of Vallombrosa with many kms of trails, beautiful itineraries of great panoramic value, accessible also to disabled people. Ask owners for more info!
