It is surrounded by a magical green and quiet landscape of tall and ancient trees. The Magnolias, the Pines, the Silver Firs, the Oaks, the Laurels, the old Cypresses, the Pomegranates and the Giant Sequoias are the evidence of the centuries-old story of this place.

The Badia's Ancient Guelph Tower dominates the Land. Inside the Castle you can breath the atmosphere of the old times: the herringbone terracotta pavements, the fireplaces, the wooden beams of the ceilings and the old rural furniture have been jealously preserved and restored.

The vineyard of the Estate produces Red and White D.O.C. Montecarlo wine by using old customs and modern processes, which are a source of great pride to the people of Tenute.

Close to the ancient buildings there is the swimming-pool and the solarium, where our Guests can relax, enjoy the summer sun and take a refreshing bath

THE TAVERN: GUIDED TOUR!
The Tavern of the Badia is situated inside the old Wine Cellar.
A selection of local food products has been made to offer our Guests the opportunity to taste not only our D.O.C. wine, but also the typical Lucchese cuisine.
Under the old Tavern vaults we serve local dishes, taking care to combine the wines with a selection of different courses.
A varied and interesting guided tour into the extremely tasty cuisine of the Lucca region.
