The big original structure, so massive and so regular, naturally led to choose a style characterized by a simple but lasting taste. This is why floors are completely covered with authentic terracotta tiles which have been created and fired one by one; a large part of the roof is made of “piagne”, that is sandstone slabs, according to tuscan historical custom; the heavy doors as well as the window frames, all made of chestnut wood, are the fruit of joiners’ labour. Outside, the masonry-work with exposed stones definitely brings out the construction architectural force. Inside this last is still pretty perceptible: here the imposing chestnut beams give indeed a fierce sense of safety. No doubt, the house has great impact on the visitor: it seems to embrace people who get there. You can harmoniously touch it as a whole by running through its ups and downs of stairs; then, once under the cool arcade, you will come to play hide and seek with your own shadow among the pillars. The structure generous size allowed to make 4 flatlets furnished with few selected antiques and 7 spacious, comfortable bedrooms. 

Maga: A very simple and nice flatlet. Accessed via small lounge with fireplace, kitchenette and bedroom. Bathroom with toilet, washbasin, bidet and shower facilities. Barbara (2+1 pax): Two-roomed flat made up of a living room with kitchenette and one bedroom. Furnishings are simple but impressive: pieces of period furniture and a fireplace characterize this flatlet. Wrought iron double bed, french silk bedspread and curtains. Bathroom with toilet, washbasin, bidet and shower facilities. Extra bed available on demand. Davide (4+2 pax): 2 Bedroom flat. Independent access by outside stairway. A large apartment you can enter both by the kitchen and the lounge. Equipped with an accessible mezzanine sheltering under the huge exposed beams: usable as a rest and relax spot to be enjoyed lying on the cosy sofa-bed. Bedroom n. 1 with double bed, bedroom n. 2 with French bed. One bathroom with toilet, washbasin, bidet and shower facilities. Very refined household linen is provided; all rooms are furnished with pieces of period furniture, according to a style which is sober and elegant at the same time. Lunette (2 pax): A lovely bedroom, made even prettier by a special lunette ceiling. A very friendly, homely room: once again, elegant fabrics and refined furnishings have been chosen to finish off. Raw silk bedspread, curtains and period small armchairs coordinates. In order to highlight the special architectural feature of the ceiling, the owners have chosen a fully handmade chandelier covered with golden leaves. Bathroom with toilet, washbasin, bidet and shower facilities. Bedrooms: Each room is equipped with functional, smart furnishings and still proud to show its majestic architecture; all bedrooms are very spacious and provided with tv and private toilet/shower.
