Typical agropastoral farm is situated in the Volterran countryside, approximately 5 Km from the city of Volterra itself.
It sits on a rise overlooking velvery pastures and the spectacular landscape of the ?Balze?, a natural erosion phenomenon of wild ravines and scoured cliffs unique in the world. Fattoria Lischeto is a working farm of 205 hectares of land dedicated to the farming of cereal crops, fodder and pasture lands for its herd of 800 sheep. Farming methods are strictly biologic as is the organic production of raw milk pecorino cheeses, extra virgin olive oil and delicatessen products.

Since 1995 Giovanni and his family have opened their doors with courtesy and hospitality to guests from around the world, hosting them in spacious double rooms or apartments. All accommodations include a bathroom with shower or bath and all apartments have fully equipped kitchenettes and dining areas. Ground floor apartments have their own private outdoor sitting space and some of the second floor apartments share a panoramic terrace.
All guests are welcome to use our swimming pool freely, there are no schedule limitations.
The Lischeto tavern is open to its guests for rich breakfasts and delicious dinners based on own products and devoted to traditional Tuscan cuisine.
On a reservation basis the tavern also welcomes groups on tour to experience our renowned local wines and gastronomic delicacies.
