Nestled in the Tuscan hills within the Alta Valdera Park, 50 minutes from Pisa and Florence, between the mountains of Volterra and San Gimignano, the Tenuta I Mandorli covers an area of 60 hectares in which it is possible to explore the woods and green valleys flooded with colorful wildflowers.

The property has been recently restored in classic Tuscan style and is rich in historical elements. A swimming pool, barbecue area and all the amenities needed for an extremely relaxing experience complete the offer.

An area of passage for the Templars , who, according to documents dating back to 1358, had built mansions here for the refreshment of men and horses, the estate has in more recent times been completely restored by Dr. Bruno Bardi, a veterinarian, who in 1966 had created an important thoroughbred horse breeding farm on these grounds. Today it is a splendid country resort whose spacious paddocks and splendid horses provide the setting.

A delightful consecrated church, built in the late 1400s and finely restored, gives even more historical charm to the estate.

The large swimming pool completely surrounded by greenery offers different depths for children and offers guests the opportunity to cool off, enjoying the relaxation of the beautiful Tuscan summers in the shade of a reserved gazebo .

The property is divided into five apartments finely restored in Tuscan style and with period elements, enriched by wooden details, stone arches and terracotta floors.

On the ground floor is the Irpinia apartment, the largest, ideal for families or groups of friends: from its windows it is possible to admire the splendid views of the Pisan mountains on the border with the Maremma.

Located on the second floor of the building, the Etruria apartment allows you to wake up with the sun's rays irradiating the rooms: from every side you always have a glimpse of the green nature. The apartment is expandable and bookable for 2 or 4 people.

Enotria is a spacious apartment with a very cozy living area. the sofa bed in the living room allows the apartment to accommodate 2 to 4 people.

The Ausonia apartment is carefully furnished with restored period elements expertly mixed with a modern touch.From its windows you can see breathtaking views of nearby Volterra and Calci.

All the apartments enjoy fantastic views that sweep from the mountains in the background, down to the valley, and then back up to the rolling hills at the foot of the estate. Inside each apartment guests will find a fully equipped kitchen (induction cooktop, oven, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator), a living area with sofa bed, bedrooms and private bathrooms.

Common areas include a barbecue area for guests' use, private parking , and free Wi-Fi.

The large pool present outside will be the perfect setting to set up the highlights of the day, such as the aperitif and cake cutting. Tenuta I Mandorli covers an area of 60 hectares in the heart of the Alta Valdera Park, 40 km from Pisa and 60 km from Florence. It is located in one of the most beautiful hilly areas in the province of Pisa, in the municipality of Peccioli. It can be reached from many directions in Valdera and is close to important tourist centers such as Volterra, San Gimignano, and Siena.

The equestrian center within Tenuta i Mandorli provides its guests with beautiful horses to take enchanting rides within the 60-hectare estate, with the help of an instructor. It will be possible to venture out to explore the valleys and inland woods, following specific routes designed to let guests admire the beauty of the green Tuscan countryside. A fantastic experience to get in close contact with nature!

For those traveling with their horses, the center provides its stables for the horse to rest in the box and apartments for the rider, so they can both stay within the estate. Included in the service is foraging.

In collaboration with a specialized store, the estate also offers its guests guided and customized E-Bike tours.

Pic Nic - A wicker basket, a checked blanket and a table with benches, equipped, waiting for guests to arrive. Through the woods, at sunset, with the sun's rays filtering through the branches of ancient trees. Don't miss the Ghiaccione Waterfalls in Chianni, the Alta Val d'Elsa River Park on the Colle Val d'Elsa. All these places have rest areas with picnic tables and are accessible to pets.
