The agriturismo

The farmhouse is located in an absolutely advantageous position, close to the places of artistic and tourist interest in northern Tuscany (conveniently reachable both by car and train for day trips) including Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Pistoia, Prato, Siena, S. Gimignano, Volterra as well as the very close Montecatini Terme and Vinci, Leonardo's birthplace.

The farmhouse is nestled in an olive grove. Developed on two floors, it was probably a resting place along the ancient road connecting Lucca and Pistoia, where Leonardo da Vinci may also have stayed overnight.

The accommodation

Available to guests are seven apartments each with comfortable living area with sofa and equipped kitchenette; the bedrooms all have a bathroom for their own use. The apartments were created respecting and highlighting theexisting ancient wall structure that, to the observer, tells a piece of its history.

The charm of the old that you breathe upon entering the rooms, seems to defy time and makes your stay enchanting. Exposed stone walls , terracotta and wood floors, ceilings with wooden beams and exposed bricks, period furniture and wrought-iron four-poster beds bring back an ancient past that reconciles one with the world and oneself, without giving up the comforts to which one is accustomed nowadays. In fact, each unit is equipped with an independent air conditioning system for the hottest days of the year.

Outside, available to guests, there is also a swimming pool in which to cool off, perhaps after spending a few hours snoozing in the sun, comfortably stretched out on one of the available deckchairs, or returning from a visit to one of the beautiful art cities in the surrounding area.

Activities and surrounding

Grotta Giusti Terme: The Grotta Giusti thermal baths are approx. 10 km from the farmhouse. The gentle temperature there, in its slow rise to 34° C, makes the "thermal steam bath" enjoyable, even in winter, for the entire 50-minute stay, eliminating toxins and all traces of stress. Reduced admission to farmhouse guests.

Montecatini Golf: Nestled in the green Tuscan countryside, Montecatini Golf Club is approx. 15 km from the Agriturismo. It is 18-hole course designed by architect A. Croze, who managed to perfectly integrate the hilly landscape with the course, enhancing its beauty. Reduced admission to guests of the agritourism.

In the village of Serravalle, about 700 m from the farm, a municipal tennis court can be reserved at an hourly rate. The tennis court is also open in the evening hours.
