Via San Martino, 22, Tizzana 51039 Quarrata (Pistoia)
The agriturismo is an old stone farmhouse which dates back to the 1700s. The property is located at the heart of Tuscany, in a region characterised by gentle slopes dotted with age old olive trees and vines, and offers scenic views of the hills of Montalbano, Carmignano and Vinci.
Completely renovated using carefully selected materials, and fitted with the latest home comforts, the agriturismo offers a unique and stylish atmosphere which is enhanced by the contrast between the old exposed stone walls and the modern furnishings.
Guest accommodation is provided in 5 double rooms with chestnut wood beams, ceilings with wooden rafters and terracotta paving. All rooms include bathrooms with showers, hairdryers, heated towel rails, Wi-Fi and network connection, telephones connected to reception, underfloor climate control (hot and cold), insulated and soundproofed windows with insect nets, and armchairs.
On the ground floor, the air conditioned lounges house the restaurant and breakfast room, and feature working stone-built open fireplaces, exposed brick vaults, Tuscan stone walls and Florentine terracotta paving.
There is also a designated smaller lounge for lunches and private dinners (once the wine cellar), with Tuscan stone walls and a barrel vault ceiling.
Outside you’ll find a covered veranda, an English lawn and a handmade terracotta courtyard, available for private lunches and dinners upon request.
