Castello di Tornano

The agriturismo has 10 rooms and suites in the castle and the tower, plus an outbuilding adjacent to the castle, and the large farmhouse offers self-contained apartments, renovated respecting the original rural building where the Romantic and Medieval periods intertwine harmoniously.

The house is made of stone and each apartment enjoys a beautiful view.
Each apartment has a fully-equipped kitchenette and a terrace or outdoor area. The apartments are particularly suitable for families and are equipped with bed linen and towels with a mid-week change and cleaning.

The furnishings in the rooms are strictly period and the bathrooms have travertine fittings and large two-person showers. There are also several modern amenities such as air conditioning, minibar, telephone and satellite TV. The building is completed by an intimate lounge that offers the perfect environment in which to relax and read a good book.

Guests also have access to a large swimming pool, a real architectural gem, converted from the ancient castle moat, and a 5-seater whirlpool tub on the terrace of the tower.

The typical Tuscan cuisine is another feather in the cap for the agriturismo, prepared with the greatest respect for local authenticity.

The ancient prison in the tower has been converted into a wine cellar, where connoisseurs, but also the less experienced, can sample the Chianti Classico di Tornano and the excellent olive oil.
