The agriturismo

An agriturismo in the peaceful Umbrian countryside, in Montelovesco, at 600 metres altitude, in the rolling hills of the Umbrian Apennines, midway between Gubbio and Perugia.

An historic farmhouse, renovated to provide guest accommodation in unspoilt landscape amidst olive trees, woodland and fields.

 

The accommodation

The agriturismo offers 4 apartments and one loft, surrounded by a Mediterranean garden filled with lavender, rosemary and thyme. All apartments are on the ground floor, and each one has its own private entrance and pergola or scenic terrace for enjoying meals outdoors.

Appartamento Arancio has 2 bedrooms, each with its own shower, a lounge, kitchen-diner, bathroom and pergola.

Appartamento Azzurro has 2 bedrooms, a lounge-kitchen, bathroom with shower and pergola. Appartamento Blu has 2 bedrooms, a lounge-kitchen, two bathrooms and a pergola, and Appartamento Rosso has a double bedroom, lounge-kitchen, bathroom with shower and a pergola. Loft Verde is adjacent to the main house, with a large private pergola.

Nestled in the garden you’ll find a swimming pool with wonderful views of the surrounding hills, and a tennis court. There are mountain bikes, a five-a-side football pitch and a ping pong table too. 

Activities and surrounding

Il Tamantino is the ideal spot for simply relaxing by the pool or exploring the surrounding countryside along its well-signposted pathways. Nearby you’ll find a wealth of culture and fine food and wine.

Umbria offers nature, art, history, stunning hamlets and cities of art such as Perugia, Cortona, Sansepolcro, Assisi, Spello and Gubbio. The region offers a rich schedule of events, such as the film festival in Montone. The estate is just a few km from the E45 motorway, offering quick and easy access to all that Umbria and Tuscany have to offer.
