The agriturismo

La Pineta agritourism is located in Castiglione del Lago (PG), right on the border between Umbria and Tuscany, nestled among pastures andopen countryside.

Here guests have the opportunity to leave behind the thoughts that fill everyday life to stay in a discreet, quiet place where the voices and noises of the city do not arrive.

At the facility it is possible to experience a vacation as a long, gentle embrace with nature: the dew-filled blades of grass moved by the morning breeze to bid you good morning, the soft rustling of the foliage to lull you in the evening.

The accommodation

La Pineta is a spacious cottage nestled in a garden shaded by majestic pine trees.

The property has 20 beds total is divided into five independent apartments, three on the ground floor and two on the second floor, simply and comfortably furnished.

Each has a bathroom with shower, TV, washing machine and fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, refrigerator with freezer, moka coffee maker, American coffee maker and toaster).

All guests can enjoy the swimming pool and the common room equipped with a small kitchen equipped with dishwasher (shared with other guests), a bathroom with shower, barbecue and laundry room with washing machine, iron and ironing board (in common with the other guests).

Activities and surrounding

La Pineta is part of a farm of about 100 hectares where thoroughbred horses are bred that you will be able to admire free grazing in the adjacent grounds and is the ideal destination for groups and families who love sports and entertainment and want to spend their vacations together without giving up a little independence.

The historic town of Castiglione del Lago still maintains the urban structure of Roman origin and, being the most exclusive tourist town of Trasimeno, offers stores, restaurants and services for pleasant evenings.

The property is a few minti by car from Lake Trasimeno and is less than an hour from Perugia (to the south) and Arezzo (to the north).
