The agriturismo

An agriturismo 10 minutes from Assisi, the ideal choice for those looking to explore Umbria – a beautiful complex with a scenic swimming pool surrounded by greenery and stunning views of the Umbra Valley and the Chiascio River.

Perched on a hill at 350 metres altitude, the estate's organically tended olive groves and vines are used to produce (and sell) PDO extra virgin olive oil, IGT Merlot red wine and Grechetto white wine.

 

The accommodation

The recently renovated stone farmhouse stands at the heart of a vast hunting reserve, and offers rooms (2-3 bed) and apartments (two-room and three-room), all tastefully furnished with views of the grounds with swimming pool. Wi-Fi is available throughout (including outside areas), and the fully-enclosed structure also includes private shaded parking for guests. Laundry service available on request.

 

Your little ones will love the play area with slide, swing, ping pong and more. The farm is home to geese, hens, rabbits and other animals, making for a very educational stay. 

Activities and surrounding

Guests can take part in a range of farming activities: Silia and Moreno will be happy for you to join them in the vegetable garden, the grounds and as they tend the animals, as well as during the harvest and olive picking. In the surrounding area you can enjoy bicycle excursions, archery or fishing on the river.

From May to October, Umbria plays host to a wealth of events: the “Corsa dei Ceri” candle race in Gubbio, the Calendimaggio Spring Festival in Assisi, Umbria Jazz in Perugia; the Two Worlds Festival in Spoleto, the Truffle Fair in Norcia, the “Infiorata” flower festival in Spello, the Nations of Chamber Music Festival in Città di Castello and various antiques fairs and exhibitions. 

As well as Assisi you can also visit Perugia, Gubbio, Lake Trasimenno, Spoleto, Orvieto, Norcia, Todi, Spello, Bevagna, Montefalco, the Marmore Falls, Cortona and Siena.
