The agriturismo
The agriturismo Maridiana offers two splendid stone farmhouses located within a 20 hectare farm in the Niccone Valley.
These are traditional 18th century country houses, both with independent gardens and private terraces with large panoramic views over the valley.
The accommodation
The farmhouse consists, on the ground floor, of a living room connected to the dining room by an arch. From the dining room you enter the spacious kitchen.
On sunny days you can eat on the terrace overlooking the valley. A wooden staircase leads to the upper floor where there are two bright bedrooms with two bathrooms.
The Casa degli Archi has a large kitchen at the entrance on the ground floor, from where you can enter the dining room and the large living room. The French window of the dining room opens onto the garden, where you can eat, enjoying the beautiful view of the valley below.
Behind the kitchen there is a small room with two single beds, which can be paired.
A wooden staircase leads to the first floor, where a corridor leads to the 2 bedrooms: the first one, furnished with a double bed, has its own spacious bathroom with bathtub and shower.
Activities and surrounding
The territory is rich in history, culture and nature, it is the ideal place for excursions to discover the territory, its villages and its monuments.
The farm promotes an active tourism offering different possibilities, from textiles to food and wine, trekking, trips to major parks and villages in Umbria, horseback riding, or attractions such as a nearby swimming pool, tennis courts and golf courses.
Already the structure is suitable for walks in the company of alpacas bred on the farm, various types of courses on the world of natural textiles, aperitifs, cooking classes and much more.
Maridiana is also an ideal place for children, who can move and have fun in freedom in the meadows around and in the small playground in the company, even in the company of docile and friendly alpaca.
In addition, the open and shady green spaces surrounding the farmhouses are perfect for moments of relaxation and tranquility admiring from above the Valley of the river Niccone.
The beautiful historical Umbrian and Tuscan cities a few kilometers away from the farm such as Perugia, Gubbio, Assisi and Cortona as well as Lake Trasimeno will allow a living but relaxing holiday.
