The ancient farmhouse, subdivided into 6 apartments besides the owner’s, is located 870 yards (800 meters) away from the Lake Trasimeno, on one of the sweet hills typical of the Umbrian countryside, and is surrounded by seven acres of organic olive groves and protected in the north by an oak forest.

From Podere Monte Petreto, the eye of the visitor travels from east to west over the Umbrian countryside to the nearby ancient village of San Savino, located 540 yards (500 meters) from the farmhouse and noted for a rare medieval triangular tower. San Savino, despite being small, is rich in art and culture. It evokes a sense of peace and tranquillity, as if one were suspended in the distant past.
The apartments are all with kitchen and refrigerator, some with the fireplace; restaurant service is not available on place, but we are at about 1 km from the lake, where you can find several good places where to eat. Some cats and two dogs live with us; your pets — always under your supervision — will be welcome. At podere MontePetreto you will enjoy a pleasant time in a quiet relaxing atmosphere.
