The agriturismo
The agriturismo "Villa di Giomici" is run by Umberta Vagni and her family.
Nestled in one of the most fascinating historical-naturalistic sites inUmbria, it is located on the top of a hill dominated by the splendid castle of Giomici and offers accommodation in five apartments.
Its location offers excellent possibilities from a hiking point of view, being just a few kilometers from sites of historical and cultural interest such as Perugia, Gubbio and Assisi.

The accommodation
The farmhouse is located between the manor house, where three of the five apartments are located, and a classic Umbrian farmhouse, where the other two apartments are located. All have been furnished with great care and can accommodate from 3 to 8 guests.
The farmhouse has a large swimming pool shared with other farmhouses in the village and built in a panoramic position; however, it remains secluded, thus ensuring the privacy of bathers.
Manor Villa
La Torretta (45 sq. m.): The "Torretta," located close to the manor house, is a separate dwelling and features a completely unique structure, characterized by a small tower, which is not accessible from the apartment. The dwelling, which offers accommodation for 3 people, is made of stone and stands within the lush vegetation that surrounds the manor house. Ample is the private green space it offers. The house is equipped with a large and safe outdoor enclosure to accommodate your four-legged friends, who can also enjoy the green heart of Italy.
L'Oleandro (50 sq. m.): "L'Oleandro," located in the manor house, presents itself as a small but cozy refuge on hot summer days. Carved out of the old cellar, it can accommodate 4 people. Meticulously furnished by Mrs. Umberta, it is a small jewel of simplicity and tranquility. It has a small private and fenced green space such that it can safely accommodate your four-legged friends.
Il Ger aneo (150sq.m.): "Il Geraneo" is the main apartment in the manor house. It enjoys a beautiful view of the valleys surrounding Giomici. It is located on the second floor of the villa and is accessed by a wide external staircase that leads to a large panoramic terrace facing Mount Subasio and the Assisian hills. It offers overnight accommodations for up to 7 people.
La Casella
La casella is an Umbrian farmhouse surrounded by a very extensive garden. It looks westward with unique views of the austere profile of Giomici Castle and the Umbrian valley below. It is located about 1 km from the manor house while guaranteeing truly impressive privacy especially on summer evenings.
It consists of two apartments located on the second floor
of the farmhouse
. They have separate entrances and each sleeps 4, but if necessary they can be put in communication offering the possibility of accommodating family groups of up to 8 people.
Apartment 1 (90sq.m.): the entrance is on the second floor and is accessed by a classic external stone staircase. The apartment is characterized by a large and traditional living area enriched by a large and characteristic fireplace. From this there is direct access to the kitchen, two large double bedrooms and a bathroom.
Apartment 2 (90sqm): the entrance is on the second floor. The apartment features a large kitchen that serves as a living area from which there is direct access to the large terrace, two large double bedrooms and a bathroom.
Activities and surrounding
The main activities offered by the Agriturismo are contemplation and relaxation, interspersed with walks along the white roads of the small village, where it is possible to encounter various species of wild animals and admire the classic Umbrian panorama, dotted with castles and ranging between the profile of Mount Subasio, the sacred mountain of Francis of Assisi, and those of the Gubbio countryside.
A riding stables is located at the castle and offers guided horseback rides.
Visits to the nearby historic towns of Assisi, Gubbio, Gualdo Tadino, Perugia and then to Spello, Bevagna, Montefalco, and Bettona will round out the days.
