The agriturismo
The farm is managed by a young, full of enthusiasm, aiming at obtaining high quality products while maintaining the peculiarities and traditions of our territory. We also felt it was necessary to make our self-sustaining energy-efficient structure by using effective and environmentally friendly methodologies. In our farm we produce excellent extra virgin olive oil, seasonal fruits and vegetables with utmost attention to cultivation techniques by excluding or limiting the use of chemicals. Guests can also enjoy the garden surrounding the farmhouse between ancient roses, peonies, typical local essences and its splendid view over Orvieto.
The accommodation
Recently renovated stone country home nestled in the Umbrian countryside of Allerona, overlooking Orvieto, near the Selva di Meana.
The estate is energy-sufficient, and covers 6 hectares (4 hectares of olive groves and the rest for fruit trees, vineyard, and veggie patch). We make excellent extra virgin olive oil, fruit and veggies with the least use possible of fertilizers and chemicals.
For guests we offer 4 master rooms with bath and breakfast hall. Furnishings were made by craftsmen and artists from the area.
We are about to finish the renovation of an area that will be used for tastings and shop.
Outside there?s a lovely garden with roses, peonies, typical local essences.
