Agriturismo Podere Sant Antonio di Orvieto

The farm “Podere Sant'Antonio” is located in a splendid panoramic position on a hill overlooking the Paglia Valley, only 5 kilometres from the town of Orvieto, in an area rich in thermal waters and characterized by its famous olive groves and vineyards.
Guest can experience the beauty of the countryside and its landscapes, renting the whole villa or staying in the apartments. Swimming pool (14mt.x 7 mt.).

Countryhouse Podere S. Antonio is so well structured that can be rented in two solutions. You can rent the whole structure which is composed of 4 apartments or the 4 apartments can be rented separately.
Ground floor:
Apartment Verdello: it’s the main apartment being the largest (90 square meters) with kitchen-living room equipped with dishwasher and washing machine with a fireplace , bedroom (double bed + single bed) and bathroom with shower. This apartment has a large porch with a large table for eating outdoor.
Apartment Grechetto: is a flat of 50 square meters with one bedroom (double bed + single bed + double sofa bed), bathroom with shower and full equipped kitchen-living room . Also this apartment has a large table to eat outside.
First floor:
Apartment Trebbiano: is a flat of 45 square meters with one bedroom (double bed + single bed), bathroom with shower and full equipped kitchen-living room with single sofa bed.
Apartment Malvasia: is a flat of 45 square meters with one bedroom (double bed + single bed + single sofa bed), bathroom with shower and a full equipped kitchen-living room. This apartment has a large terrace with a table for eating out with a nice view.

14 mt. x 7 mt (1.10 mt. deep by 1.50 mt), sun beds, umbrellas, outside shower, barbecue, ping pong are at guests' disposal. Upon request and free a baby bed . Pets are welcome.

To allow you to discover the charms of the surrounding environment and the delicious flavours and aromas of our local cooking, guided tours by bike or on foot can be organised for you. Or, if you prefer, you can take part in cooking courses or go wine and oil tasting and buy the famous Orvieto wines and the high-quality olive oils, or any other local specialities.

Thanks to its geographical position, the agriturismo is an ideal base for tours to the best-known Italian cities of art, as well as countless wonderful villages and hamlets scattered among Umbria, Tuscany and Lazio, each characterised by its own traditions and where many events are held in every season, to make you discover locat traditions and food and wine.

Allegrona (5 km), Perugia (70 km), Orvieto (20 km), Todi (50 km), Viterbo (60 km), Chianciano (40 km), Montepulciano (45 km), Lake Bolsena (30 km), Lake Trasimeno (40 km), Città della Pieve 25 km, and naturally Rome 120 km and Florence 150 km. The sea is 90 km away (Argentario area), the mountains (Mount Amiata, an area teeming with stunning spa centres and ski resorts) 50 km. Nearby are also some well-known spa centres, such as San Casciano Dei Bagni, which is 20 km away, and Chianciano Terme at 40km.

As well as taking wonderful walks in the unspoilt nature, the agriturismo offers the possibility to swim in the pool, play bowls, as well as a small but well equipped play area for children. Near the agriturismo there are sport centres which offer tennis, horse-riding or canoeing and angling either on the Tiber or on Lake Bolsena.
