The agriturismo

In the heart of the Veneto region, halfway between Venice and the Dolomites, are the hills.

This is the home chosen, after many years of travel, by owners Monica and David.

ValBarè is the ideal place to spend an evening or a few days in the midst of nature.

The owners will pamper guests with good eating, good sleeping and good sharing.

The accommodation

The facility consists of 6 spacious and bright rooms for 2 to 5 people. Each room has a bathroom, Wi-fi, air conditioning.

The Sambuco room is also suitable for people with reduced mobility. All rooms have access to a central kitchen reserved for guests.

The restaurant offers guests homemade food that varies with the seasons but always with a twist. For example, savory cheesecake with dark fig, ravioli stuffed with braised quail, turkey roulade stuffed with radicchio and walnuts, or Torchiato di Fregona chicken stuffed with livers and speck. The restaurant is limited to 30 people to ensure quality service for all.

The farm itself produces-organically-a range of products fromolive oil to pumpkins via beans and many others. They also raise donkeys, perches, goats, turkeys, ducks, chickens, quail, etc..

Activities and surrounding

At the property you can eat in tranquility, relax with a book in front of a beautiful view, visit the animals, walk up and down the property (8 hectares) through the olive grove. Rent e-bikes for a nice ride in the hills. For lovers of long walks, you can follow one of the trails in the area (e.g., Torchiato trail).

Within 30 minutes: Vittorio Veneto and its historic centers(Ceneda and Serravalle), the Caglieron Caves, nice and cool especially in summer. Sarmede, the village of fairy tales and its international exhibition (October to February). The Cansiglio forest, third largest in Italy. The Prosecco hills, a UNESCO heritage site. The first mountains of the Dolomites.

Within 60 minutes: Venice, la Serenissima. Treviso. Belluno. The sea (Caorle, Jesolo). Nevegal for a hike on the ridge trail to Visentin.

Within 90 minutes: Padua, Trieste, Cortina d'Ampezzo in the midst of the Dolomites.
