Agriturismo il Mulino della Rocca is set in theTuscan-Emilian Apennines (Food Valley), in a small medieval village 90 min drive from Cinque Terre, 40 min from Parco dei Cento Laghi, 20 min from Pontremoli, 50 min from Parma, 120 min from Milan, 150 min from Florence.

The farmhouse with the charming stone mill lends itself to a relaxing vacation in the midst of nature with many walks. Here you can taste the real zero km: An ' ancient medieval workshop houses our mill, in which we produce the organic flours used for all the farmhouse preparations.

Theagritourism, a stone's throw from the Mill, overlooks the crops and is the result of the modernization of two stone buildings, adjacent to each other, built in two different eras: the older one dates with certainty to the Renaissance period.In the renovation their history was respected, preserving important chestnut beams in the ceiling of the hall, the roof planes, and preserving the stone on the exterior facades.

The structure consists of three rooms, each with its own entrance, located on the ground floor and, due to their location, quite cool "naturally" in the summer, equipped with TV, wifi network and underfloor heating for the colder seasons. In addition, the rooms are equipped with hair dryer, shampoo, shower gel and linen.

Upstairs there is a large living room, with an open kitchen and wood-burning oven, and is where we welcome guests for breakfast and dinner, with a panoramic view.

Each room has a private bathroom, linens, hairdryer, shower-bath, TV, wifi and double pillow for each guest. Some are suitable for people with disabilities.

CULTIVATIONS

In 2019 Chiara and Davide began cultivating, using the Organic method, the fields of the small village that had been uncultivated for more than 60 years. Today they passionately grow soft wheat, spelt, old corn, potatoes and produce honey with 20 beehives.

CUISINE

The ingredients are mostly homegrown: the Organic flours (soft wheat and ancient corn), honey, potatoes, spelt, vegetables, as much wild herbs as possible, and for the rest products from local farms. There will never be a shortage of bread on the tables, made as it used to be and baked in a wood-fired oven.

BREAKFAST

In the morning an Italian breakfast awaits our guests, prepared entirely by Chiara and Davide, and on request it is also possible to have an international breakfast.

GARDEN

The outdoor part includes a garden where guests can enjoy the view and eventually get to the crops through a short walk.
