Daniele and family have given us the best vacation of our lives. We were floored b the location, 700m above the Tuscano vineyard. You are remote, yes, but it is peaceful and serene. The room was perfect. A kitchen, comfy bed, huge closet, bathroom with great shower - and this is just the Jr. Suite, the least expensive room. We went Oct 10-16, 2011 and were the only ones there! The pool is excellent. The breakfast perfect. The cooking class will be a best memory of all time. Leaving Rifugium was incredibly sad because Daniele has made a gem, rare and magnificent. We would have never left. Worth every penny and make sure to purchase a Rifugium wine.

certainly suitable for those looking for a place to rest, away from it all. And 'in the countryside, on top of a hill. The road is not very easy to reach, many bends, narrow, a few miles of dirt road, to get there in the evening, we were wrong road many times, compice a heavy rainstorm, and few signs on the road, and the browser did not recognize the 'itinerary, the managers of the structure were delicious! I thank them for their helpfulness and patience in guiding us to the hotel, as well as having waited a long time as well. Thank you! The property has a very nice pool, as well as a small whirlpool. The entire structure, given the location, is on terraces. There is no possibility of lunch and dinner, must always take the car and rebuilt the road until the first country (in my opinion this is the most negative aspect, as also the type of road). The apartment where I stayed was equipped with a small kitchen, if one wants peace of mind, and you do not want to move when you arrive, then gearing up to eat on his own, could be a solution. Very friendly atmosphere. Much frequented by foreigners. Thanks to the managers, for their friendliness and helpfulness always maximal. Exquisite. The structure of the council but 'only one who really is looking for a place to unwind, perhaps a little too isolated; coming and then gearing up to move from there, little or nothing.

» [Rifugium] reply: We are pleased that the customer is not satisfied, however, the structure and staff, and we are sorry for the inconvenience of the road. Unfortunately, some browsers are not as up to date on the roads and that is why we often recommend that you enter the GPS coordinates and the exact address. Always on the road I want to clarify that the gravel road (unpaved) is less than 400m but with regard to the curves are in the heart of the Tuscan country roads and long, wide and straight, prutroppo not exist.
