Costa Etrusca

It is a 'senior' Farm House, as a matter of fact it started its tourism activity in 1990 and was the first farm hotel to be opened in San Vincenzo and the second one in Leghorn province. At present, they run a 6 ht olive and fruit field. This is enough to produce few, selected products, as an ecologic extra virgin olive oil, fresh eggs, some vegetables and fantastic charcuterie without preservatives. The swimming-pool is situated in the most panoramic place of the farm, surrounded by gardens of olive trees, aromatic plants, roses and fragrant climbing. In winter, when the whether is too cold to allow swimming in the farm's pool, one can reach Il Calidario, at a 7 kms distance, a natural hot water lake.

It offers a staying in rooms and apartments with private entrance, located in various places of our farm-house. Some of them have private gardens, some others have open-galleries. They all differ one from the other and each one of them has been named after plants and flowers that you will find in the property's gardens. They are all carefully furnished and are suitable for both winter and summer stays.
In detail they are: one-room apartment or double bedroom; standard apartments for 2 to 4 persons; superior apartments also for 2 to 4 persons; larger apartments as Caprifoglio for 4 to 5 persons or our charming Le Palme for 4 to 8 persons. They suit various needs, many of them are sea-view, others have a beautiful Tuscan Hills view, some have private and fenced well-kept gardens or a cosy fire-place or relaxing hydro massage showers. For breakfast there is a rich buffet with juices, yogurt, coffee, milk, various kinds of tea, ham, cheese, eggs, white and dark bread, toasted bread, fruit, fresh breakfast cakes that we prepare every day, corn-flakes.

At the agriturismo you will also find Osteria Al Braciere, a restaurant run by the property owners. Tables are located in one of the most panoramic gardens of Costa Etrusca, with a gorgeous view on San Vincenzo and on the islands. In the menu you will find Tuscan hors-d'oeuvre, pastas and soups, but the particular aspect of this restaurant are its meat dishes, all cooked over the barbecue. You will find a wide choice of different kinds of meat, as America Buffalo, Mix of Pork grilled meat, Fiorentina, Ostrich, Fillets, etc. Nonetheless, you will also find vegetarian dishes, as a mix of grilled bread with vegetable sauces, Tuscan Soups, Home made pasta with vegetables, grilled chees.
The choice in the vast world of Italian wines has been done favouring the Tuscan red ones, but you will also find very good white wines from Veneto and from Trentino Alto Adige, two Italian northen regions.
Osteria Al Braciere is always open for its hotel guests, from May to September we serve meals in the garden, since most of its tables and the barbecue are outside. In medium season and winter days the restaurant is in the property's country style dining-room with big fire-place.

There is also another hall, available for particular meetings or celebrations. For children, a little amusement park, ping-pong tables and many farm animals to be discovered with lots of open spaces to run and play. For colder months or for rainy days, or just to spend some chilly evenings we have equipped a part of our guests country hall with carpets, toys and children books.
