Hi Caggiole the farm we were a couple of times, the day of our anniversario.siamo been very well received with kindness and skill is perv regarding the manner in which the structure was used both for cooking, excellent but most genuine, ideal for children .. especially breakfast.

This is a jewel on the Tuscan countryside and ideally situated to visit so many of the stunning hilltop towns in the area. What makes it so enjoyable is the fifth generation Martinelli family, who care for this property and their guests. The weekly dinner they served was special. We experienced a terrific week here and the web photos truly reflect the atmosphere! Marina Heidman, Toronto, Canada

I stayed in this cottage for a weekend this winter, a plus for the position (on the outskirts of San Gimignano), but still quiet and sheltered, a + for the room even as her grandmother (clean, tidy and with the furniture than once of course!), and + to Ms Ornella fantastic cakes. Too bad that we could not eat as it lacked the number of accessions needed ... I am convinced that we missed a lot! Still recommended.

We loved LeCaggiole. Our room was comfortable and inviting, spotless, and furnished with Antiques. We loved the food, and Giacomo was always available to advise us about where to go and what to see. Mama Ornella always provided a wonderful breakfast and even taught us how to prepare a typical tuscan supper. They used only the finest and freshest ingredients in their dishes, and it was evident in the results. The owners care very much about their guests, and went out of their way to make our visit a great one. We are going to return very soon!

My wife and I stayed 4 nights and loved the area. The owners, Giacomo and his lovely mother, were incredibly helpful in every way, making all of us feel truly at home, (other guests had the same experience) despite the fact that they were quite busy trying to finish the grape harvest in between rains! The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We stayed in an apartment called LA MASSAIA and were pleased with the privacy and comfortable bed, nice shower, etc.

We did eat one evening meal in the dining room and it was wonderful and authentic including homemade wine and pasta. Nonna made the breakfast every morning and the pastries were incredible. I ate so much every morning, they probably don't want me back. In addition to pastries, there was a selection of fresh fruit, yogurt, coffee, milk, juice, bread, cake, cereals, honey, etc. In other words, everyone could find something they liked and it was all fresh and excellent.

The town of Montepulciano is only 2 minutes away by car and was our favorite of all the hill towns we visited. Giacomo can give you tips on the entire area from north of Sienna to south to Orvieto. Trust him because we found his recommendations of sights, restaurants, etc to be dead on.

If you are looking for a 5 star Four Seasons type experience, this is not the place for you (nor would I imagine any agriturismo would be) but if you want comfort and a personalized stay (similar to staying with a distant cousin), then this is a super place. It is obvious the Martinelli's love their hometown and region and want to share it with guests.
