I can highly recommend this place to go and relax. The views are breathtaking, the location excellent, the host most welcoming and the service great. Its located a half an hour (by car) outside of Florence near the town of Sieci. Supermarkets are close by in Sieci and Pontassieve if you need it, Florence easy to reach by train and the beautiful routes of Tuscany to reach places like Sienna and San Gignimiamo easily accessible (although if you plan on driving in Italy, you need to be quite cool headed and prepared). The host, Lorenzo is very welcoming, helpful and speaks English well. Breakfast was included in our rate, typical Italian breakfast with cakes, toast, Nutella, home made jams, honey, cereals and good coffee. Eggs etc can be ordered at an extra cost. The dinners you book are excellent. They use produce from their farm and other local farms, and their chef is really superb. Dinner consist of the typical four course meal at a reasonable price.We stayed in the apartment away from the main house which was perfect with our toddlers, private with beautiful views and it had a bedroom, small lounge and kitchenette - perfect for our week stay there. Thank you to Lorenzo and team for welcoming us so warmly and making our stay unforgettable.
