The holiday farm is immersed in the splendid countryside of the Florentine hills and looks out over an immense valley. The 14th century house and its barn have been completely renovated in the original style and are flanked by olive-groves, vineyards and fruit trees. Close by, there is a swimming-pool surrounded by secular olive trees. This farm house is a small family-run agricultural business and holiday farm which can sleep up to 12 people. Traditional Tuscan crops are still cultivated on the hills surrounding the farmhouse. Subject to booking, a dinner in our farmhouse will allow guests to sample the typical produce of the farm such as our extra virgin olive oil, wine, fruit and our home-grown vegetables.

The original rustic character was rigorously maintained during renovation work with particular care being paid to detail: some walls have been stripped back to bare stone, showing the quality of the stonework. Likewise, the chestnut beams have been left exposed and the old tiles can be admired. The antique terracotta flooring has been preserved and used to floor most of the building. The outside areas have been paved with local stones to recreate the original flavour of the farmyard.
A charming swimming-pool surrounded by secular olive trees has been installed with total respect to the environmental context. Next to the barn, under the loggia there is an old wood-fuelled oven, in perfect working condition where, during the summer months, typical dishes are cooked to delight the palate of the guests.
Breakfast is provided for the guests in the dining-room on the ground floor of the farmhouse.

The guestrooms all bear the names of the places where, in times gone by, the various activities linked to work on the land, were carried out.

The Hayloft is a double bedroom with a mezzanine floor housing a private bathroom and heating system. It looks out onto the old pergola and has been designed to be suitable also for disabled guests.

On the ground floor of the farmhouse there is also the Potter's Wheel room, a double bedroom with bathroom and access for the disabled. The ground floor also houses the reception desk, the dining-room, the kitchen, the wine cellar and other working areas.

On the second floor there are three large bedrooms, the Dove-cot, consisting of two interconnecting rooms, the Granary and the Vinsantiera, the place where the Tuscan farmer produced the fine dessert wine Vinsanto.

Each room has a private bathroom and heating and offers a splendid panorama.
