The agriturismo
The villa is an ancient and characteristic coach inn for changing horses, surrounded by a very large private park with Mediterranean plants. Inside the small Borgo there are charming courtyards where the various apartments overlook. The entire facility stands on an archaeological park from the Bronze Age where you can see among the vegetation precious ancient Menhirs and original finds of the Roman age. Further romantic notes are the old little Tower and the nineteenth-century Moorish arches of the main building, which frame the central courtyard, all illuminated in the evening by scenographic lights. The various gardens are inhabited by various small farm pets, which roam freely within the park in search of caresses and… maybe even a bit of food !

The accommodation
The Borgo has self apartments of different sizes and types (from 2 up to 4 beds, each with the possibility of extra beds). All of them offer a lot of privacy, are spacious, have private entrance and garden with veranda (or terrace) for exclusive use where you can enjoy relaxation in complete freedom or eat with a panoramic view of the park and the nearby mountains. They have been renovated respecting the local architectural typologies and furnished with period furniture and objects from Abruzzo tradition, but they are also equipped with all the new technologies and comforts, as air conditioning and an excellent free WiFi connection (also in the outdoor and pool areas).
At guests' disposal there are two small charming pools, built in the style of the old rural fountains, with a panoramic view of the mountains. All around a large solarium surrounded by nature, ideal for relaxing in a quiet atmosphere and enjoying the sun or the shade of our secular trees, a pleasant space equipped for a strictly personal use of each guest. Entrance is reserved exclusively to the farmhouse' residents to preserve the tranquility of the place. In a secluded area we offer some outdoor equipment, such as barbecue, table tennis, table football, mountain bikes, etc.
The facility is also very suitable for children and families because it is all flat and free of dangers (fenced pools and shallow waters).
Guests can enjoy great Freedom & Autonomy, being able to take advantage both of the "Residence Formula" (i.e. fully autonomous and equipped apartments, very close to various services), and the "All Inclusive Formula" (thanks to the various restaurants, pizzerias and takeaways outside the property, but a step away from us).
Typical partner restaurant / trattoria at 300 meters (reachable on foot), supermarket at 600 meters and village fully equipped just 3 minutes by car.
Activities and surrounding
The Farm holidays is located just in the core of Abruzzo, the so said "Green Area of Europe", and is in a really strategic position that allows excellent mobility and easy access to all major sights: just below the mountains of the two famous National Parks of Majella and Gran Sasso, but only 30 minutes drive from the beaches or beautiful wilder Marine Reserves. So endless possibilities of trekking and various tours, visits to fascinating medieval villages, as well as the possibility of easy day trips to Rome (which is only 1.5 hours away), besides not being far from international airports also served by low cost flights.
You will be welcomed directly by the owners of the house who will provide you with complete assistance in discovering the "secrets places" of this incredible territory with one of the richest biodiversity of nature and landscape in Europe. You will be provided with their personal guide to the territory and other tourist material (in the main languages), but they will not fail to give you personalized advice based on specific requests and needs.
The hosts have been carrying out this activity for more than 40 years and are dedicated with passion and care to promote the area and its traditions as their main activity !
